Summary
This study tested a pure cannabidiol (CBD) drug called CardiolRx in 27 adults with recurrent pericarditis, a condition where the heart's lining becomes inflamed and causes chest pain. The goal was to see if the drug is safe and can help reduce pain and inflammation, while also allowing patients to lower their use of steroids. Results focused on pain scores and inflammation markers over 8 weeks.
