NCT ID NCT05431972
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested a wearable heart monitor called Cardea SOLO to see if it finds hidden atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat) better than a standard 12-lead EKG in people who had a stroke with no known cause. The study included 257 adults who had a stroke within the last 60 days and had an enlarged left atrium. The goal was to improve detection of atrial fibrillation, which can help prevent future strokes.
