Could a simple patch uncover the hidden cause of your stroke?
NCT ID NCT07295769
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a small, wearable heart monitor (MEMO Patch) can find hidden atrial fibrillation—a type of irregular heartbeat that raises stroke risk—in 100 people who had a stroke with no known cause. Participants wear the patch for up to 14 days at home, and doctors check the recordings. The goal is to see if this non-invasive device can catch heart rhythm problems that standard tests might miss, helping to prevent future strokes.
