NCT ID NCT07298122

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at people who had a stroke with no clear cause (called ESUS) and also have mild to moderate heart disease. The goal is to see if advanced heart scans like MRI or CT can find blood clots in the heart that standard ultrasound might miss. Finding these clots could help doctors choose better treatments to prevent another stroke. The study will involve 125 participants and is currently recruiting.
