Carb drink before bypass may tame blood sugar in diabetics

Summary
This study looks at whether giving a carbohydrate drink before heart bypass surgery can help control blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. About 50 patients will be enrolled. The goal is to see if this simple step reduces insulin resistance and improves recovery.
