New immune cell therapy trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat ovarian cancers

NCT ID NCT06469281

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and initial effectiveness of an experimental treatment called 27T51, a type of CAR T-cell therapy, for women with recurrent or hard-to-treat ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancers. The first part will find the safest dose, and the second part will test that dose, possibly in combination with other drugs. The goal is to see if this personalized immune cell therapy can be a new option for these solid tumors.
