First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a treatment called CAR T cell therapy for adults with a type of blood cancer (B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia) that has returned or not responded to standard treatments. The therapy involves taking a patient's own immune cells, modifying them in a lab to better recognize and attack cancer cells, and giving them back via an infusion. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective for these hard-to-treat cases.
