Modified immune cells target tough cancers in groundbreaking trial

NCT ID NCT05922930

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new cell therapy for people with advanced ovarian or pancreatic cancer that has stopped responding to standard treatments. Doctors are giving patients specially modified immune cells, called CAR-NK cells, directly into the abdomen to try to attack the cancer. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if this approach can help control these difficult cancers.
