Engineered immune cells take aim at hard-to-treat lung cancer

Summary

This study tests a new treatment using specially engineered natural killer (NK) cells to attack advanced lung cancer that has spread. About 60 adults whose tumors have certain markers will receive chemotherapy followed by an infusion of these cells. The goal is to find a safe dose and see if the cells can shrink tumors.
