Pill-Sized camera could replace uncomfortable biopsies for esophagus disease
NCT ID NCT03546660
Summary
This study aimed to test a new, swallowable camera capsule to diagnose conditions like eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). The goal was to see if images from the capsule were as good as those from standard, invasive biopsy procedures that require sedation. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
