First seen Jun 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether the chemotherapy drug capecitabine can clear tiny traces of cancer DNA found in the blood of people with ER+/HER2- breast cancer after standard treatment. About 15 adults whose cancer has been surgically removed but still show signs of residual disease will take capecitabine pills daily for up to 12 months. The goal is to see if this approach can prevent the cancer from coming back.
