Could cannabis ease the agony of chemo nerve damage?
NCT ID NCT06731894
Summary
This study is testing whether two cannabis-based treatments (CBD alone or a THC:CBD mix) can reduce chronic nerve pain, tingling, and numbness caused by chemotherapy. It will involve 120 breast and colon cancer survivors who have finished treatment but still suffer from these side effects. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the cannabis treatments or a placebo pill for two months to see which is most effective.
