Does cannabis fry your brain? scientists track users to find out

NCT ID NCT04373525

Summary

This study aimed to understand if regular cannabis use harms memory, thinking, and brain function over time. Researchers followed 110 active cannabis users in Hong Kong for a year, testing their cognitive skills and analyzing their genes. The goal was to see if users' brain function declined and if certain genetic factors made them more vulnerable to these effects.
