New program aims to bridge the gap for cancer patients seeking clinical trials
NCT ID NCT06905002
Summary
This study is testing a program called the Clinical Trials Navigator (CTN) that helps cancer patients, their families, and doctors find suitable clinical trials across Canada, especially when trials aren't available at the patient's local hospital. It will roll out the program at two new cancer centers to see if it successfully increases the number of patients who are referred to and enroll in trials. The study will also interview staff and patients to understand what helps or hinders the program's success.
