Summary
This study tested a new system that uses patients' electronic health records to help manage common and severe cancer symptoms like pain, fatigue, anxiety, and sleep problems. Over 50,000 adult cancer patients participated. The goal was to see if better symptom management could improve quality of life, help patients stick to their cancer treatments, and reduce trips to the emergency room.
