NCT ID NCT05674240
First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a targeted drug delivery system (a pump that sends pain medicine directly to the spine) works better than standard pain pills for people with severe cancer pain. Researchers followed 30 adults whose pain was not controlled by strong opioids. They measured pain levels, side effects, and quality of life over three months to see which approach provided more relief and fewer problems.
