NCT ID NCT07632014
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will follow 6,000 children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer in low- and middle-income countries. Researchers will collect data from medical records and questionnaires to understand why treatment failure and severe side effects are more common in these settings. The goal is to identify barriers to care and inform future efforts to improve cancer outcomes.

What this could lead to
If successful, this study could provide crucial data to help improve cancer care and survival rates for young people in low- and middle-income countries.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial, so it won't directly improve outcomes. It may also face challenges in data collection across many sites.
