Major cancer study seeks clues to why immunotherapy works for some patients

NCT ID NCT03958240

Summary

This study aims to understand how different cancers interact with the body's immune system, particularly focusing on immune cells called T cells. Researchers will collect tissue and blood samples from 1,100 patients with seven types of solid tumors over five years. The goal is to identify patterns that might explain why some patients respond better to immunotherapy treatments than others.
