New scan could reveal if cancer immunotherapy is working

NCT ID NCT05888532

Summary

This study is testing a new type of PET scan that uses a special tracer called 64Cu-GRIP B. The goal is to see if this scan can safely detect a marker of immune system activity (granzyme B) in tumors of patients with advanced cancers, including prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers. Researchers hope this scan can help predict which patients are likely to respond to immunotherapy treatments.
