Summary

This study aimed to better understand and measure the risk of dangerous blood clots in people with cancer. Researchers followed 700 hospitalized cancer patients to see how often clots occurred, especially in those already taking blood-thinning medications. The goal was to gather information to help guide future treatment decisions for this serious complication.
