Summary
This study looked at whether people with a higher body weight and a higher risk for sleep apnea are more likely to have breathing or heart problems during an endoscopy. About 350 adults having an upper endoscopy or colonoscopy took part. Researchers used simple questionnaires to check sleep apnea risk and tracked any complications during the procedure.
