Summary

This study aims to see if completely inactive people can train for 18 months to complete a 100 km mountain ultra-marathon. Researchers will track how many participants stick with the program and finish the race, as well as monitor injuries and overall health. The goal is to understand the effects of intense endurance training on people who start from a sedentary lifestyle.
