First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 02, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study compares MRI and CT scans to see which better detects thymoma tumors and their spread in the chest. About 40 adults with newly diagnosed or recurring thymoma will get both scans before surgery. The goal is to find if MRI can replace CT, potentially offering a radiation-free option for accurate diagnosis.
