This study tested whether a special type of MRI (diffusion-weighted MRI) can predict if head and neck cancer will come back after chemoradiotherapy. Fifty-nine patients had two MRIs: one before treatment and one three months after. The goal was to see if changes in water movement in tumors could signal recurrence. If it works, this non-invasive scan might help doctors catch returning cancer sooner.
