First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking calcium dobesilate, a vein-supporting medication, can reduce pain and improve recovery after a common varicose vein procedure called radiofrequency ablation. About 250 adults with varicose veins will take the drug or standard care for a week before and 30 days after the procedure. The main goal is to see if it lowers pain and helps people return to daily activities sooner.
