Morning coffee boost? study tests caffeine on early workouts
NCT ID NCT07466732
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether taking 300 mg of caffeine can improve how well men perform on thinking tasks and repeated sprints in the morning. It compares caffeine to a placebo (sugar pill) and to taking no pill at all. The goal is to see if caffeine can offset the natural dip in performance that happens early in the day. Participants are healthy, active men aged 18-35 who are low caffeine users.
