Head-to-Head drug battle offers hope for rare kidney cancer

Summary

This study compares two FDA-approved drugs, cabozantinib and sunitinib, in people with a rare type of advanced kidney cancer called variant histology renal cell carcinoma. The goal is to see which drug works better at slowing cancer growth and has fewer side effects. About 32 participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two drugs, and their health will be tracked over time.
