Summary
This study compares two FDA-approved drugs, cabozantinib and sunitinib, in people with a rare type of advanced kidney cancer called variant histology renal cell carcinoma. The goal is to see which drug is safer and more effective at slowing cancer growth. About 32 to 84 participants will take one of the two pills daily at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
