New coordinated care model shows promise for stroke recovery

Summary
This study tested a new way of caring for stroke patients that brings together doctors, nurses, and family members using technology and teamwork. About 1,200 adults who had a stroke took part. The goal was to see if this coordinated approach improves quality of life and reduces disability one year after the stroke.
