Summary
This study tests whether a single injection of bupivacaine liposome into the adductor canal can preserve leg muscle strength after total knee replacement, compared to a continuous nerve block with a catheter. Eighty patients aged 60-75 will be randomly assigned to one of the two nerve block methods. The main goal is to measure quadriceps strength using a handheld device, with the hope that the single injection leads to faster recovery.
