New pill aims to cut dangerous lung attacks in bronchiectasis patients

Summary
This study tests a daily tablet called Florensocatib (CHF10196) to see if it can reduce the number of serious lung flare-ups in people with bronchiectasis, a long-term lung condition. About 1800 participants aged 12 to 85 will take either the drug or a placebo for up to 78 weeks, then everyone can receive the drug. The goal is to improve lung health and quality of life while monitoring safety.
