Summary
This study tests whether a mechanical cough-assist device (in-exsufflator) works better than manual chest physiotherapy for clearing mucus from the lungs of hospitalized patients aged 60 and older. About 120 participants with bronchial congestion will be enrolled. The goal is to see which method improves cough strength and breathing more effectively.
