New pill shows promise for Tough-to-Treat cancers

Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called BI 907828 (Brigimadlin) in 99 adults with advanced cancers of the bile duct, pancreas, lung, or bladder that had not responded to other treatments. Participants took the drug as a tablet once every 3 weeks. The goal was to see if the drug could shrink tumors or slow cancer growth. This is not a cure, but aims to control the disease.
