Can a drug duo outsmart resistant T-Cell lymphoma?
NCT ID NCT03409432
First seen Aug 13, 2026 · Last updated Aug 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This phase II trial is testing whether combining brentuximab vedotin, a targeted antibody-drug conjugate, with lenalidomide, a chemotherapy drug, can shrink tumors in people with T-cell lymphoma that has relapsed or not responded to earlier treatment. The study enrolls adults with stage IB-IVB cutaneous or peripheral T-cell lymphoma who have already tried at least one systemic therapy. Researchers will measure how many patients achieve a complete or partial response, and will also track side effects and overall survival.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- brentuximab vedotin (an antibody-drug conjugate) combined with lenalidomide (a chemotherapy drug)
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this combination could offer a new treatment option for patients with T-cell lymphoma that has returned or stopped responding to prior therapies.
- What could go wrong
- This is an early-phase, small trial, so results may not be definitive. The combination may cause significant side effects, and not all patients may respond.
