Summary
This study looks at whether an 8-week program of breathing exercises can improve respiratory muscle function in frail adults aged 80 and older. Participants are randomly assigned to either a real training group or a sham (fake) group. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost intervention can boost breathing strength and diaphragm health, potentially improving quality of life in very old adults.
