Summary
This study tested whether a specific breathing technique called pranayama could help older adults. Researchers wanted to see if practicing these exercises could lower stress, improve sleep quality, and enhance overall quality of life. The study involved 74 adults aged 60 and over living in nursing homes, who were randomly assigned to either practice the breathing technique or not.
