Breathe and squeeze: simple tools tested to fight burn treatment pain
NCT ID NCT07100041
Summary
This study looked at whether two simple, non-drug methods could help people with burns feel better during painful dressing changes. Researchers tested if doing breathing exercises or squeezing a stress ball could reduce pain and anxiety for 210 adult outpatients. They measured pain levels, anxiety, comfort, and vital signs to see if these easy techniques made a difference.
