A simple breath could ease the pain of dialysis
NCT ID NCT07427875
Summary
This study is testing if simple, guided breathing exercises can help reduce the pain and anxiety people often feel when getting needles inserted for their dialysis treatment. It will involve 90 patients who regularly receive dialysis. They will be randomly assigned to try one of two breathing techniques or to receive their usual care, to see which approach helps them feel more comfortable.
