NCT ID NCT07260734

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study aims to improve a non-invasive breath test that detects stomach and esophageal cancers by measuring specific compounds in exhaled breath. Researchers will test 6,000 adults referred for suspected cancer to see if adding simple metabolic substances boosts the test's accuracy. The goal is to catch these cancers earlier, when treatment is more likely to succeed.
