Summary
This study is testing whether a breath test can detect lung cancer early in people at high risk. Researchers will collect breath samples from 3,200 current or former smokers aged 55-74 and compare the results to standard low-dose CT scans. If the breath test works well, it could offer a cheaper, easier way to screen for lung cancer.
