First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study is testing a device called Inflammacheck that measures certain chemicals in your breath to see if it can help doctors tell the difference between lung cancer, other lung diseases, and healthy lungs. About 140 adults will take part, including people with lung cancer, pneumonia, and healthy volunteers. The goal is to improve an AI model that could one day provide a quick, non-invasive way to screen for lung cancer.
