Can pumping before birth give preterm babies a better start?
NCT ID NCT07191366
Summary
This study aims to see if pregnant women at high risk of early birth can safely express and store breastmilk starting at 28 weeks. Researchers want to know if having this milk ready right after birth helps feed the newborn and supports the mother's breastfeeding journey. They will compare outcomes between women who express milk before birth and those who follow standard care.
