Summary
This study tested two different nerve blocks to see which one provides better pain relief after breast surgery. 62 adults having a mastectomy received either a serratus anterior block or a serratus posterior superior intercostal block. Researchers measured pain scores and how much extra pain medicine was needed in the first 24 hours after surgery.
