First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tested a breast reconstruction method that uses only a patient's own fat (lipomodulin) instead of implants or tissue flaps. It included 118 women who had a mastectomy for breast cancer. The goal was to see how well the technique works, how the breast looks afterward, and how it affects quality of life.
