New tool aims to simplify breast reconstruction choices for cancer patients

Summary
This study is testing whether a decision aid tool called RECONJOINT is practical for helping women with breast cancer or a genetic risk make informed choices about breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Researchers will enroll 131 participants to see if a larger study is feasible. The goal is to improve shared decision-making between patients and doctors.
