NIH builds a 'Library' of cancer samples to unlock future cures

NCT ID NCT03762733

Summary

This study aims to create a collection, or biobank, of biological samples from people with breast, ovarian, or uterine cancers, as well as from some of their close relatives. Researchers will collect samples like blood, urine, and leftover tumor tissue to store for future research. The goal is to help scientists better understand the DNA changes in these cancers, which could lead to improved treatments down the line.
