Scientists track 700 cancer patients to crack treatment resistance code
NCT ID NCT04526587
Summary
This study follows 700 patients with advanced breast cancer who are taking specific cancer drugs called CDK4/6 inhibitors. Researchers will collect blood and tissue samples to understand why some patients respond well to treatment while others develop resistance. The goal is to learn how to better predict treatment outcomes and understand what happens when cancer stops responding to these medications.
