Summary
This study is testing whether giving radiation therapy before mastectomy surgery allows for immediate breast reconstruction using the patient's own tissue. It compares this approach to the standard method where reconstruction happens months later. The research aims to see if this timing change is safe and reduces complications for women with larger breast tumors that have shrunk with chemotherapy first.
