Summary
This study is testing whether giving hormone therapy before surgery helps women with a specific type of breast cancer have better surgical outcomes. Researchers want to see if this approach reduces the chance that cancer cells are left at the edges of removed tissue, which often requires additional surgery. The study involves 176 postmenopausal women with hormone-sensitive, HER2-negative breast cancer who plan to have breast-conserving surgery.
