Summary
This study looked at menopausal women over 50 with very small breast cancers (less than 10 mm). It compared standard surgery plus armpit lymph node removal versus surgery alone to see if skipping the extra procedure was safe. The goal was to reduce side effects like arm swelling without affecting survival or cancer coming back in the armpit.
