New study aims to close racial gap in breast cancer screening

Summary
This study tests whether a culturally tailored program can help Black women keep their mammogram appointments. About 176 women aged 40 and older who are scheduled for a screening mammogram will take part. The goal is to find better ways to reduce racial disparities in breast cancer detection.
